They immediately vacuum the mixture of water and solution into a holding tank and exhaust the dirty air out of your home, leaving behind nothing but clean, damp carpet that will dry in a matter of hours.
Vacuum regularly. How “regularly” will depend on a few factors. In general, it’s recommended to vacuum at least once a week per person in your household or roughly 20 pounds of pet. For example, a couple with two cats should vacuum three times a week. A single person with a 60 pound dog should vacuum four times a week. Remember that one of the main reasons to vacuum is to remove hair and dander. A large pet will usually produce more of both compared to a smaller one.
Once the specified time has passed, put your protective clothing back on. Clean the racks first. Put them into the basin of hot soapy water and watch in amazement as months, possibly years, worth of baked on oven crap melts into the water. Then get your muscle on, grab the silver scourer, and go over every side of every rack. You’re going to have to give them a good scrub so that they are all shiny and new looking. There is no oven scum that is considered to be “normal wear and tear” – it can all come off.

Check the light bulb to make sure that it’s still good. Replace it if it has blown. Get up on the ladder. You might be able to get away with giving the shade a quick wipe, but more often than not you have to remove the shade fitting and either wipe it out, or give it a good scrub in a tub of hot soapy water. Replace the fitting once it it clean – and remember to be careful when you remove and replace it. They are often quite fragile and easy to damage.

My only guess (and this is just a guess) is that there was more than 1 person and they are each $30 per hour, this would mean that the total “value” of hours would be their combined effort ie 3 people for 8 hours is equivalent of 24 hours
Because of the microscopic size of these particles, they can easily be inhaled when the area is disturbed, which can exacerbate allergies. Many professional carpet cleaners use a technique known as steam cleaning when performing carpet maintenance work, which exposes your carpet to high temperatures that dust mites can’t survive.

If you are responsible for garden care, you must ensure that you mow the grass before leaving, and that there is no rubbish left on the site. Trim all edges and remove weeds where appropriate. Take this opportunity to also
If your cat or dog soils the carpet it’s important to act fast to clean up pet urine while it’s still wet. If the urine dries, it can stain the carpet and promote bacteria growth. Immediately place several paper towels over the soiled area of carpet, then walk on the paper towels so they absorb as much pet pee as possible.
Now that most of the generic tasks are complete, you need to focus on all floors which are not carpeted. First move all furniture out of the way. Then thoroughly vacuum these surfaces and mop with a warm, soapy solution.
Though this method of carpet cleaning is sometimes referred to as a dry-cleaning method, it really is not. Bonnet cleaning uses a cleaning product, occasionally mixed with carbonated water, and spreads it as a mist over the surface of the carpet. A circular rotating buffer or “bonnet” with an absorbent covering is run over the soiled area. When the covering becomes soiled, it is replaced with a clean one. While the top one-third of the carpet is cleaned, soil which has settled to the bottom of the pile remains behind. This cleaning method should be viewed as a temporary measure between more intensive cleanings.

I love cleaning basins and sinks for Vacate Cleans. Often people don’t realise that they even need to be cleaned! Over time, your tea, coffee and food dregs stain your stainless steel – but it will ALL come off and magically transform into shiny loveliness. Apply a liberal amount of jif to the insides of your basin/s, your drip tray and the tap/s. Use your microfibre cloth and some muscles, and scrub ALL silver surfaces, edges, indents, corners – everywhere. As you scrub, you will notice the stains coming off. Scrub quite hard all over – there should be grimey jif over the whole thing. Take special care around the plug hole/s and water grate. Run your water gently, and rinse off your cloth and start to wash off the jif residue. This will take you a while as you need a fair bit applied in the first place to do this job properly. Check that you’ve got everything, and then dry/polish the whole thing off.

A regular oven is slightly more time consuming. Mix a solution of 1 liter of water to 4 tablespoons of baking soda (increasing the amount of soda for more severe grease and carbon). Apply the solution to the interior of the oven and leave for an hour. If the carbon is loose enough to chip off, use a scraper to remove, if not then re-apply the soda solution and wait another hour. Proceed to wipe down the interior with a half-vinegar half-water solution.
If you have a splash-back or tiles that is not “shiny”, you won’t need the glass cloths and glass cleaner. If it is smooth and shiny, you will – everything else will streak, unless you polish it like the Karate Kid until your arms fall off.
Chem-Dry uses up to 80% less water than typical steam cleaning because its carbonated cleaner, The Natural, relies on millions of microscopic bubbles to release dirt and grime from the fibers of your carpet and raise it to the surface where it can easily be swept away. This low water, low pressure approach is healthier for your carpets, allows your carpets yo dry in only 1-2 hours and is also more environmentally friendly.
Be sure to clean all walls and doors, removing any marks (including those above heaters). Use a mild solution of warm water and colorless dish soap to avoid damaging the surface, paint or wallpaper whilst cleaning. Apply with a soft cloth or sponge and wring out excess water to prevent causing the wall or door damage.
For pet urine, use an enzyme-based cleaner specifically designed for this type of stain. If you are unable to find such a cleaner, blot fresh stains with an ammonia solution followed by a detergent and warm water. Set stains can be lifted with a 1/3 vinegar in water solution. Like fresh stains, follow up with a detergent and finish with water.

A common process of hot water extraction begins with preconditioning. Alkaline agents such as ammonia solution for synthetic carpets, or acidic solution (such as vinegar solution) for woollen carpets, are sprayed into the carpet, then agitated with a grooming brush or an automatic scrubbing machine. Next, a pressurized manual or automatic cleaning tool (known as a wand) passes over the surface to rinse out all pre-conditioner, residue, and particulates. If an alkaline detergent is used on a woollen carpet, use of a mild acetic acid solution will restore neutral fiber pH. The acidic rinse thus neutralizes the alkaline residues, and can contribute to softening cleaned fabrics.
Referred to as “low moisture” or “encapsulation” cleaning, dry cleaning utilizes chemicals and a small amount of water to quickly clean the carpet, but it doesn’t eradicate as much debris and dirt as steam cleaning. It uses a rotary machine, brush or sprayer to loosen dirt and then immediately vacuums out the dirt and debris. Encapsulation helps improve the carpet’s appearance, but the carpet doesn’t require 24 hours of dry time, so you can start walking on it again immediately. It also keeps the carpet cleaner for a longer period of time. Some estimates for dry carpet cleaning include:
