For front-load washers, fill with hot water on the largest load setting, add two cups of white vinegar and set on a complete wash and rinse cycle. Repeat this with hot water and 2 cups of bleach. Once complete, set a full cycle going with nothing added to remove the chemicals. Remove and soak the dispensers in warm water. Once the grime has lifted remove them, place them on a towel and spray with all-purpose cleaner. Wipe away any dirt with the towel, dry them, then replace.
If there is cloudy residue, your best bet is AGAIN Jif. Use a damp cloth with Jif, and scrub all of the screens on the inside. Usually this is worse in the lower 1/3 area of the screens. Rinse off the Jif, and if necessary, repeat. Once this build-up has gone, spray both sides with glass spray, and polish with your glass cloth.
